I'm running the GT3071 kit. It can handle all the power without any problem. The shiftment is in 0,2 seconds, no joking around I do run 1.65 bar of boost and have no problem. You can ask Todd @ Protomotive, he saw the figures.

Did 100 - 200 km 4.7 seconds, 0 - 100 km 2,9 seconds and 0 - 300 km in 18,9 seconds with this tranny. If I try 1/4 mile, I believe I will be at 9's.

With the 3071's you can run safely to ~1.45 bar (hopefully on MS109 and not CA 91). Above that, you will most likely start slipping and then damaging internals of the tranny as you increase boost, especially if you're running 3076's. Keep in mind it may not happen right away. It may seem fine, although you may get slipping as the internals degrade. With upgraded clutch packs/valve bodies and TCU remap you can start SLOWLY moving towards 1.65 bar which is about the max boost for the stock injectors.

Most of the auto trannies, including in the AMG cars will go into limp mode or degrade from Manual mode back to Auto mode when they heat up (especially on track), so a cooler upgrade is worthwhile although it will not solve all your problems, it will help a lot. We are working on releasing a tranny and diff cooler soon.

I will send my tiptronic to MKB by the end of the week,

I'll let you know all about it step by step,

The first thing i want to tell you is that they do much more than adding discs and changing the valve, they don't give out information about what they actually because they want to protect their product from competition.
I spoke on the phone with the man who does all the work on the tiptronics and he is Greek, so we had a very good communication since we speak the same language.
I think MKB is the leader on modding those transmitions since they offer their own engine upgrade kits for Merc cars where they do the transmition upgrade.

The biggest advantage they have among others on modding tiptronics is that they do all diferent moddedls SLK,CLK,CL,SL,S,CLS etc. So they know all the parts each one has inside and they know which ones are best to use.

He also told me that some people brake their transmitions even after uprading them, upgrade does not mean unbrakeable, i can brake down a manual in 2 launches.

Anyway i trust them and i will do this job with them, i'll keep you informed

Good luck bro, the guys at MKB know their stuff, i delt with them many times and wasn't dissapointed any time with them, they even came over to UAE when i faced some problems with my car just to check everything when the dealer didn't find the problem. They are the best for MB world in my book.
