REALLY??!!! this is possibly the dumbest thing you said so far.
That's like saying that the times at one dragstrip count, but another doesn't. Miami is at the same altitude and has more humidity. It is at least as tough
I have no problem keeping to topic, but please, don't say that the G dominates, that is ridiculous. There is 2 G's that have gone fast. The rest of the list is dominated by porsches. What do you think you are likely to run into n the street. A TTG or a killer p-car? The Turbo porsche already came with the turbos so making a fast one is easy. The G requires much more work. So I hate to say this but across america and europe for that matter, you are more likely to get spanked by a fast p-car, than any G.
oh, but yes, the G is faster than the P, right now

what you wanna hire me If Nissan hires me, I can give them back a reputation
It's all good. It is truly a numbers game, more cubes, means bigger turbos, means faster car. Traction and control are truly the only limits and I wonder how much faster cars will get. I'm surprised a TT viper hasn't been able to hit beyond any of these cars yet. They have the capacity in cubes, but traction is a problem.

custom gearing would do. It's only a matter of time then, before someone attempts it. 1800-2k hp should push well over 250's.

The truck motor doesnt support Mile racing IMO.. The TQ it makes it doesnt hook.. The Stryker Viper than ran maxton for many years always struggled to break 230's and it was on E85 making 1800hp.. no traction, so they over geared it..

The Supra running the mile doing 240-247 were doing it using only 5 of the 6 gears on a super tall tire. With a revised gearbox geared more towards the mile could push the bar a bit further in my opinion using all 6 gears. There's also a bit of power left on the table for the cars running as well with some engine/turbo changes (our drag race engines make close to 2050-2200 on the engine dyno and quite a bit more boost). 245-250mph is insane, but I think we're just seeing the start of things to come with mile racing now, I just hope the safety standards are addressed as quickly as the need for more speed.

nya, nya, nya, the FordGT's don't count. We were just talking about Porsche and Gallardo, oh and Supra too, cuz I likes them.
The funny thing is that this is such a fluid topic. That is like saying so and so was the greatest (insert description) that ever lived. Sorry, there is always someone better.

There have been quite a few full street Vipers that have done between 210-230mph at the mile events and they were no where near 1800rwhp. Most were around 1100-1200rwhp. Remember the Hennessey Venom that beat the Veyron pretty bad in the Mag Mile test was only 1100rwhp and it did 220mph in the mile and did it under 20secs if I believe.
Slightly back on topic Id love to see a TT CGT go for this title. It has the cubes to match the Gallardo and a sweet redline to exploit. I think a TT Version would be a serious contender.
