WOW!!...That BBS F1 19" front wheel is only 16.31 lbs!!!...The web site says it is made out of an ultra light weight forged blank that is cnc milled....nice finishes available...looks like a great wheel.

Thanks for the nice pic. I don't like the style that much, Manthey is better looking, but that weight!! What's not to like about the weights?! Unlike Manthey, this one is forged aluminum (I would prefer aluminum to magnesium.). I've read on a BMW forum that these are designed and built by BBS Motorsport Division in Germany, not Japan. Rumored cost is 8000. How much are they exactly, on a Porsche, does anyone know?
I think the next big thing for wheel is weight reduction. I hope the 2 after-market big guns, HRE and Champion, are paying attention! AMT and BBS have proven that it's doable.

Thanks. Hope it would be 7k. 10k is definitely "tough." I hope they know to lower the price and recoup the loss by numbers.

From BBS:
Due to the options for individualisation this wheel type is not available from stock but can be produced in a period of 4-6 weeks after receipt of the order.
The recommended retail price per wheel is
€ 1200,00 (silver finish)
€ 1250,00 (black / diamond cut finish)
€ 1400,00 (ceramic polished finish)
+ extras like special drilling and rim protector.

If what I read is correct, then the BBS wheel is designed by BBS Motorsport Division in Germany, and manufactured in Germany. I don't think the "pedigree" could be bettered. Manthey itself is made by BBS and is a product of the same division right?
As mentioned, I don't like the style and I think Manthey looks better, but the BBS FI has to be considered the very best wheel on the market right now for the Turbo, all things considered. So US $1700 per? $6800 for the set? Very doable and my next Porsche will have this one for sure. LOL.
