I'm a big fan of the Panamera, but I'm thinking the 997TT is running slower than it should be for whatever resson...hence the results of the race.

A P-box measured 60-130 run of the PTT will clear everything up. Be sure to get a couple of your GT2 as well.

When comparing manual versus PDK turbo cars, it's NOT just about the speed of shifting. The loss of boost during shifting is an important factor. No matter how fast and how perfect you are in your shift, perhaps unless you are a pro shifting without concern for the box's longevity, a manual Turbo drops boost during shift. No such thing with a PDK.

I have driven a PDK Turbo; even if we equalize that car's horsepower to your car's stage 2 level, and assuming your car's stage 2 is working as advertised, I will predict that any PDK Turbo will eat the Panamera alive. Because it has 4WD traction, in the low end, say first 2 shifts to around 60-70 mph, a PDK Turbo would even beat a GT2, especially the current one with manual box only.

I'd love to see comparo between 997.2 TT pdk vs 997.1 manual.

I presume PTT pdk will be even with 997.1?

Very impressive if both cars are running as they should.

Regardless, and with no disrespect to cc08gt2 intended, that Panamera (IMO) is one butt ugly car!!! I don't care how nice and or fast it is, I can never picture myself wanting or buying one.

Fastest trap I could find in a review was 111mph. That is why I'd like to see a datalog from the Mile...I'd really like to see what this baby can do with PDK - it may make me change my mind in holding out for the new M5. Chuck - do us proud at the Mile.

Bob, R&T went 11.7 @ 118 in one, and C&D went 11.7 @ 119. I can't find the link to the C&D test, but I have the mag.
