Proto 100-200 kph data

7.18 is very impressive for just a flash and exhaust but on what octane? I know I'm pulling back timing because of 91 fuel. If I can get some MS109, I probably could get 70+ more hp. This test was more of what my set-up can do on CA 91 blend. An interesting comparison would be to see what other set-ups can do with similar fuel...any takers?

Dunno what they run stock but I imagine significantly slower. Not sure I want to do meth but would consider E85 but no stations nearby.

Great time. Do you have dbn file you can share with us or graph? What octane is pump in Greece?

[quote=TTdude;2766768]Agreed. What's mods do you have? That 5.99 is blistering fast.quote]
I have 18g's, injectors, 5bar, exhaust and Meth injection, and my EPL tune, that's it. Stock IC's, stock airbox and piping so far. With the meth, I can run 6.0 all day, run after run. That 5.99 was down hill, but it counts...

Yeah, meth has a relatively high latent heat of vaporization--keeps the motor running a lot cooler for sure. I think I'll stick with octane for now but would need to switch out vtg's to achieve < 6 sec 60-130. I like the boost landscape of the vtg's but one possibility is to bolt on some TiAl A30's which may have similar boost characteristics but better flow up top.

Thanks for the input which is why I'm throwing it out there. Do you guys have a tip or 6speed? What octane are you running? Please post P-box data if you have it. There are a lot of numbers out there but no published P-box data for support or verification. The only similar reference point that I'm aware of with sanctioned data posted is by Eclou. He has a AWE700/750 set-up and with race gas (I believe) posted a 6.0 100-200. So I don't think my time is that far off considering my mediocre shifting ability, fuel, and elevation (1000 ft). What would be nice is if people posted data then, in theory, one can measure the slope of longitudonal g's to see how hard it's pulling.

One experiment that might be fun to try is see how everyone's mods pull in 2nd gear from 35-70 mph (in the legal zone for many highways). Pbox it and let the data speak for itself. Better than comparing different dynos.

I will play but I have to get home before I can access the data...

Awesome data! Gotta love that velocity slope. No shifts! Thanks for posting.

Do you have a datalog for this? You should send it to Scott and have it verified. It is an excellent time and should be posted on the list!

The run was done on pump 100oct which as is usually said here is the same with US93oct.
PS Cyprus is not Greece, its Cyprus

Many of the vendors will get you one for a pretty good deal. (I can't advocate one over the other.) It is a very useful tool for enthusiasts.
