Which are the five lightest wheels for the 997 turbo?

I was searching around for the lightest wheels available for the 997 turbo but couldn't find much info, it would be a good idea if sponsors or owners could post images and specs of their lightweight wheels.

There are some post but not all of them have details and specs like what are they made of, weight, offset etc.

thx

Unfortunetely dymag is out of the business so you have to find them used...which is extremely difficult...However if you do...you will love them...Car brakes better, steers better and accelerates better...there is a great loss in unsprung mass with these wheels...I had them on my 996TT for 1 year and bought them again on my 997TT...

There is a set at my Porsche dealer for sale, a guy bought them for his 997,2 S but didn't like them and put them for sale. He said that the car was unstable. I was surprised to hear !

Here is what comes to mind (roughly in increasing weight but the last 4 are all about the same):
  • Dymag
  • HRE CF40/CF43
  • Champion MS61
  • Tech1
  • Champion Monoblocks
  • HRE Monoblocks
  • BBS F1
  • OZ Ultralegga HLT

Wheels can be light, strong, and affordable - pick two.

The impact shock CF can handle before it brakes is about 3 times greater than conventional wheels...however if they crack, you can not repair them...I would go for them...what price?

Thanks for the input Sparkhill, i think BBS FI comes second after the C/F wheels with little of difference

BBS FI specs:
19"x8.75, offset 50 (FI010); weight: 7.4 kg
19"x12, offset 50 (FI012); weight: 8.9 kg

I'm not sure about the price, i need to ask them but i think its not what i'm looking for, if i would go for the C/F i would choose the HRE's which look like the P40.

I think i don't trust C/F wheels for road use

For sure it is your decision, just do not think they are so fragile...i did 10000miles in the roads of Athens, without a single issue...
