After 4 months of owning the turbo, and being upset about the quietness of it....i finally got exhaust

It took 3 weeks to get the exhaust delivered, because they had to ship it over from germany.

Before i go on, Id like to give a special thanks to TTdude for meeting up with me to let me hear his exhaust.
I would also like to thank Rhonda@FVD for being so unbelievably accommodating and helpful.

First thoughts: the packaging was well fortified. Took me about 10 minutes to open the box up(lots of ripping apart involved)

The exhaust was beautiful, the welds were immaculate and the tips were gorgeous


Now that i finally installed my exhaust(Had it installed at Lucent motorsport on sepulvada and Olympic in Los Angeles. Fantastic work! very friendly environment! the owner Tom is a very helpful guy who knows his cars. )

When i turned on the car in the shop(cold start), noone in the shop could talk for about 45 seconds until the cold start scream died down a bit.

The exhaust sounds absolutely phenomenal. It is EXTREMELY loud....this exhaust is NOT for those with sensitive ears.


The exhaust does smell, however it is the smell of performance (catless), and also the smell of like $1600 cheaper than the 200cell cat'd exhaust.

Overall, i am very happy with FVD's service, and there product is fantastic as well.

if anything yours is probably louder than mine due to the upgraded intercoolers, turbos and ECU!
It is soo loud tho! haha, surprisingly it is still apparently going to get louder when broken in!

 

Congrats on the exhaust. Feel any gains with it?

 

Butt-dyno doesnt really feel anything different but, i am sure something was added

not so far, rhonda included o2 sims in the package. so far so good
