brushed, polished or brushed/polished?

I'm considering a set of HRE 890r rims. I don't want to look like a gangster but I do like the "deep dish" look and was wondering if anyone has a tt with the brushed finish on wheels? Is it better to get brushed center and lip or has anyone done brushed center with polished lip. The polished/polished looks very shiny, a little too flashy for my liking but nice nonetheless.

Opinions and pics appreciated!

qvt408 is infamous around these parts
I went through the same thing after looking at so many pictures and asking for advice, i went with a brushed center and a high polished lip. I wasnt digging the center to be polished it was too shinny. And it depends on the color of you P also. But for sure get brushed center and high polished lip.

Go for brush centers and high polish lip. Chrome is over kill but polished lips will be absolutely perfect.

thanks for the links, that's very helpful. I'm now torn between brushed/brushed and brushed/polished lip. Time to ask my wife for an opinion but then it'll end with "how much did you say the rims cost?" gulp, maybe I'll just get anonymous opinions from you guys.

Very nice Showking. How wide are the rear rims and what size tires? do you know the offset?
Is the car lowered? Those are 20s right?

Yes, they're 20's... 20" x 9" front,20" x 12" rear on 245/30-20's, and 325/25-20's.. It's dropped 0.8" on Eibach springs. I don't know the offset off hand..

It's amazing how good the 0.8inch drop makes it look.

I love it.. It's enough to give it a "dropped" look, but these cars have long overhangs as it is, and scraping all day is not fun so they seemed like the perfect compromise. So far so good. -Showking
