Even with mods there is still a difference between sport and non sport modes

in traffic sport mode is somewhat annoying

There's plenty of cars out there at great prices

get the one tha has everything you want or forever second guess yourself

Maybe that is true with people who have SC and maybe it is flash dependent. I can only speak for my Proto 700 set-up which, even in LA traffic, is smoother than stock.

Ultimately while there are valid arguments for having SC on stock or tuning the car and gaining even more power, I think resale value has to be considered. Just reading old posts here, seems almost all walked away or were warned to do so if SC was missing as option. Question is do you plan to sell at some point and would it matter if you get a bunch $$$ less at that point?

The other way to look at this is if you can get a smacking deal because the SC is missing then you just saved yourself a bunch of $$ which you can put towards some mods assuming you go in that direction. There is a lot of speculation about the value in resale between an SC optioned car vs one with out but does anyone have any hard data? Certainly most people on this board would not buy one without it but this constitutes only a small fraction of the general public who would love to get their hands on a turbo, SC optioned or not.
