Pascal,

very good results. It seems that only we Europeans care for 100-200 times

what was the ambient temps during the runs?

Thxs Mert,

AT was 18°C

After did my 100-300 against the little wind in 26.6' I did the return in the same zone (no slope) but little wind in the back and I did 100-289 in 20.8' and 1273m. (unfortunately I didn't reached 300, was not safe enough...).

For comparison I checked the 100-300 "going" file and the 100-289 with little wind in the front was 22.8' and 1415 meters.
Showing the wind impact on times...

-best 100-200: 5.97' and 258,24 meters, my best of all with no slope at all (+0.3meters 100 to 200)
-average 6.4' between 6.3' to 6.6',
-notice I let the boost growing from 80kph.
-I checked the file for 60-130 and did 7,03' and 313.7 meters, I'm very near Gene's times (Eclou) now, was a sort of "way to go" for me; cool.

My times are the same with 1 shift vs no shift cause my top end is quite good. (until end 6th at this AT)

-only one 100-300 in 26.6', but little wind in face. (becoming big wind >200kph...)

I change my exhaust sensors and plugs (for Denso's) in a few days, with that and the A.temp which is lowering weeks by weeks now I expect improving all my times a little bit more...

P.
Those are excellent numbers for pump gas, better than what I ever got. With race fuel/tune you will break 7s easily. Nice job!

Nice work P! I just did a run and achieved a personal best today. 16C/60F outside, reasonably level road (I'll see what pbox has to say about that), 94 octane pump gas, upgraded vtgs, .2tt i/cs, catless, AWE exhaust, Proto tune, Sachs II.5 clutch. I started in 3rd gear around 50mph/80kmhr and shifted into 4th when I saw the tach needle swing past 6k rpm. Held 4th gear the rest of the way since the rev limit is raised.

100-200km/hr = 6.3s
60-130mph = 7.2s

May not set any records but I'm very pleased.

Now bring on the stock ZR1s and Vipers.

SPI E900 GTR: 100-200 in 4.09 secs verified by Scott.

That was on the 4.7 60-130 run. The car went 60-130 in 4.6 before.

Pascal,

I think those numbers are fine for car with modified turbines and coolers.
997 turbo tip with similar mods accelerate up to 200km/h in 10sec and 100km/h in 3,1 so 100-200 in 6,9 sec.

Hello Pascal,

It looks like you are loosing power after 200kmh.

If you are going 100-200km in 6sec you should make 200-300km in about ~15 sec with your current setup.

Do you have detailed datalogs? Lambda, Boost, EGT, Throttle, etc..

Hi Emre,

Yes I log with Durametric,
I expect 2 reasons: -IAT, my 997.2ics might be at their limit (?)
-EGT, exhaust sensors "tired"
Todd told me to change my stock plugs too for Denso's with the good gap.

Thxs interesting my case!

Hi speedin'bros!

This early morning runs by 14°C AT (7 shoots to 200 and 2 shoots to 300, 997.1TT 6spd, pumpgas, no wind)

-100-200kph: best 5.96'/255.64m average 6.3'/275m
-60-130mph: best 6.95'/306m average 7.05'/307m
-100-300kph: 22.95'/1471m and 24.03':1556m

Synthesis: -4°CAT is not changing a lot my 100-200 but my 100-300 gain is up to 1', I'm impatient to see by 5°C AT...
My max IAT was about 45°C at long shoots (14°C AT), so 14°C AT is Ok with my 997.2 Ics possibilities.
I'm convinced a lot of Ics flow better, but not cool better, if a manufacturer is Ok I bolt and log its part on long pulls and if Ok buy them, but all are too much expensive to be bought without being sure of the results...
(and I have seen awful cooling logs with well known AM's...)

Bests!

Really nice results P! So is your opinion (based on all your testing) that for shorter 60-130 runs the bigger ICs that flow better would be beneficial over the .2ICs? It would be interesting to see if that's true and what temp range that applies to. It makes sense that the bigger ICs would be more beneficial for shorter 60-130 runs because of better flow but that has yet to be proven, I think. I hope some AM IC companies will step-up and send you some to test. Nevertheless, your 60-130 times on pump gas is really great. Do you have access to MS109? That would be interesting to see your results.

Pascal, so you managed to get sub-6s 100-200, congrats! I'm hoping to get a bit of racegas next week and will try for that too. I hit 6.3s on pump gas (94 octane)
