100-200 km/h times: Stock_vs_Modified

hard wears installed. Need to flash the ecu and do VTG break in then the car is ready for testing

Not sure how much difference the higher octane fuel makes to the time but I imagine it must make a bit of difference. Nonetheless it would still be a really fast time on regular 91-93 octane I presume.

It will take you almost a day on the plane to reach skandalis

We tryed several tuned 993,996 and 997TT with friends, and 100-200 under 6' was impossible under far more 600PS and 800Nm. (stock french 98 fuel)
Ever with 1,4Bar we obtain maxi 580hp and 780Nm with a stock VTG's and a good exhaust (and headers).
I have got stock VTG's and upgraded ones at home, when mounted no one can see any difference between the two.
I'm astonished by Skandalis times too!

I do not have the card here, but the fastest is the 6spd 996TT dynoed 698hp/840Nm: 6,2', follows my 6spd (to Shotcaller)997TT dynoed 633hp/861Nm:6,8', my 560hp/820Nm 993TT finish in 6,9' from 97-197 and 7,7' 100-200 (cause need the 5th to 200) (with 98' Octan pump fuel)
So You understand my astonishement!
But nothing against you Skand', just want to understand...
(perhap's 100 oct fuel, and tip' is better; but 5,5' would need more than 700hp/900Nm with our cars...)

Well i can check it all out first hand if skand lets me. I'll even buy the coffee and, i will come armed with an olive branch.

I remember whitenight and another turkish member also got VERY FAST 100-200km/h times and they only have FVD tune, exhaust, headers and airfilter..They use shell 100oct Euro also.
Plenty of members in U.S and other countriies has FVD tune but they never got same results..The reason was coz they use 93 U.S octane or 97/98 Euro octane.
Toby/rennlist has 997 gt2 w/RS tuning ecu, exhaust and I/C ran 0-300km/h in 26's on shell 100oct Euro then he ran 97/98 Euro octane and he ran 0-300 in 30's...4sec is a huge differance i guess!!

Thats cool by me. A day out of my life wont kill me....i hope . I was looking forward to some greek coffee in Athens....followed by a scary ride. I can always bring my crash helmet .

that 633 hp 997 TT, who was the tuner?

I think all cars should test with same pumpgas shell 100oct Euro pump gas to be a fair compare

The best 100-200km we have seen with ECU+Exhaust+headers+air filter + 100 octane EURO pump gas is 6.7 seconds. Overall it was 6.8-7.0 sec.
with modded VTG's + 100 octane euro pump fuel, best 100-200km was 5.7 seconds. Overall it was 6.0 - 6.2 sec.
Cheers.

First, the 997 was fitted with the FVD's 610hp complete kit, plus Sachs 1050Nm clutch. (VTG's upgraded include)
I drove it to a french tuner called DM performance near Paris, he remaped the ECU to 633hp cause I felt the car too smooth (but the base was far under the pretended 610hp, the boost was less than 1,1Bar)
BUT the Ic's are stock and 633hp needed a long cooling time on dyno (it was this summer), so probably the 6,8' will be better in winter or with Ic's...
I will tell you when the mods will be done.

regarding 610 hp kit, you got custom tune and 633 hp. Did you manage to get 633 hp with FVD's upgraded VTGs? If so, at which boost pressure did you make 633 hp?
