Yes.

Plug it in. Turn on the variables you want to log. Go for a drive.

Thunderolls - The durametric can measure values through the OBDII port that are important to your car. Mainly engine parameters. The VBox is a GPS meter that measures in essence movement.

BBYWU - Yep exactly! John you will first select what you want to log. Know that the MORE you log, the slower the response. So only check the important ones you want to see. Click start logging and do it to it!

I'd also mention that tuners have the ability to fine tune a car's programming by logging runs at WOT over 3rd and 4th gears, recording the data, then reflashing the ECU.

mine is version 6.0.1.9

how do I start logging? under Tools, Logging, Enable Logging?

where do I choose the variables? want to choose boost pressure / rpm / lambda. Do I
set these under ENGINE MODULE / INPUT SIGNALS?

I have not used 6.0 yet. But should be there. They wont say Boost, RPM, etc basic. They will be like Manifold Pressure, Engine Speed, Bank 1 or 2 Lambda.

A Mountain Goat. Not a smart one though

Air/Fuel. Your factory O2 sensors are wideband sensors that measure the cars Air/Fuel ratio to allow the ECU to adjust for knock and then pull timing.
