997 tt Rear Brake Air ducts

Do any of you gentlemen by any chance have a picture of this unit of your stock 997tt ? I would really appreciate it As it will help me place it onto my 996tt.

Thank you!

yes those are stock brake ducts for rear, nothing elaborate, just takes the air passing under car and directs it, kinda simple

I'm seeing if a member here is kind and takes pictures for me on how they go mounted. I'm having trouble putting them on my 996tt. I understand I may need to cut a bit here and there, but i do not want to do so untill i know where exactly they go mounted, so I can see what i have to do, to make them fit.

TIA!

If this diagram doesn't help, I'll put my car on ramps and photograph what you need. #13 is the duct.

Thanks...

Enrique, I hopefully this helps. I left my car on the ramps...I'll check back tonight if you need more pics.

The duct basically attaches to one of the two control arms (#13 above.)

You know, I think I just figured out that there are really a bunch of guys that use the bbywu signature and they have a super computer that sucks all Porsche info off the net and puts it immediately at their collective fingertips.

How else could one person respond so often, so quickly, so accurately 24/7/365? It has to be a group!

Great info. And to think "someone" thought it was some type of mud guard.
