Thank You 6speed and 6speeders & Fair Winds and Following Seas Höegh Brasilia
Greetings to all fellow 6speeders,
My apologies in advance for a somewhat lengthy post...
In anticipation of buying my first 911TT, I started lurking for a while on this, and other forum sites to decide, before diving in, which forum will become my home.
I was looking for a number of things, and they are, in no particular order:
1- The quality of information on the forum,
2- How generous are the members in giving advice and sharing their experience,
3- The general disposition, for lack of a better word, of the member to each other and to newbies/strangers,
4- How active the forum is, in general,
5- The participation of vendors/manufacturers,
6- How important the general opinions of forum members are in the eyes of vendors/manufacturers,
7- The way the forum is being administered and moderated, and
8- Overall, I wanted to gauge that important, if intangible, "spirit" of the forum.
I registered and began interacting with members in a number of forums a short while ago.
I must say I have had a good experience almost universally (with one or two exceptions that shall remain unnamed).
However, one forum stood heads and shoulders above all others in terms of everything I was looking for, 6speed.
You people have, in a very short space of time, humbled me with your generosity in helping fellow members and making a newbie and stranger feel right at home.
For that, you all have my sincere gratitude. You people are truly elite.
Now please join me in wishing the vessel Höegh Brasilia, bringing my new baby to me on June 8th (according to the P dealer here), fair winds and following seas.
Her tracking link is right here.
(Again, a trick I learned from you guys )
Thanks again,
Karim

I hope the ship is heading for the pick up because it's sailing in the wrong direction for your location.
Best of luck on the new car and it's people like you that add so much to 6speed being the great forum it is.
