200 miles in the 997tt
I have put about 200 miles on the car and here are my thoughts:
I was hesitant about buying a tip, however, now I am glad I did. Don't get me wrong, driving a manual is more emotional as you feel the car more, but the shifting of the tip in Sport Manual is excellent, a human can't shift that fast, period unless its Walter Rohl.
The handling of the car is great, the suspsension is tight and the brakes are killer as always.
The interior is awsome, I love the cocoa with stitching, it's very nice and worth the extra $$$'s IMO.
Sound system is nice but could be bettter, I am leaving that alone.
The only real negative I have is she is fat. The car feels heavy which of course it is. Porsche needs to go back to the light cars when they build the TT.
Overall, love the car. Straight line accelaration is superb, build quality is superb, handling is great, the brakes are superb, interior is superb. Porsche did a great job with this car, it's superior over the 996tt IMO.
Also, white with the cocoa interior is sex on wheels, I think this is the color combo to beat IMO

Love the C White and Cocoa! Your car is a beautiful spec with alot of additional leather covered surfaces. Love the classy touch with the wood touches. Great spec...oh the all red Tecquipment tails look awesome!

gorgeous car, congrats! I'm amazed Porsche let it out of the factory without painting the front lip white though! Red taillights rule...just got those myself. Perhaps a light tint and your car will be complete.
