I just wanted to outline my experience buying some items from Dan at Vivid.

Having spent the better part of 6 month, and still counting, waiting on my car to arrive, I got that all too familiar itch to start spending some money to "prepare" for its arrival.

Please remember that I live in Kuwait. Distance, cultures, import regulations, etc...

I began discussing options with Dan a short while back and I was truly impressed by the speed of his replies and by the time he freely gave me toward answering all my questions. I requested items from him that he does not normally stock. He researched them, advised me on them, and, eventually got them for me so I can have my shipment consolidated and at lower cost.

The items I bought are:
1- Softronic ECU flash for 997.2 TT. (Detailed review with PBox data to come.)
Dan sent me the upgraded Enthusiast version of the Durametric Cable free of charge.
2- BMC air filter (PBox data to come)
3- Performance Box (review to come)
4- Hoyt Technologies' new MSR-200 High Def Motorsports Camera (review to come)
5- RennLine Aluminum Perforated Pedal (Accelerator Pedal + Brake Pedal + Foot Rest + Floorboard Driver Side only)

Dan very kindly threw in a lot of free Vivid merchandise:
1- Plenty of stickers
2- Pit Crew button shirt (super nice )
3- T-shirt
4- License Plate frames

I wired Vivid the money and the wheels were fast put into motion. In about a week, all my stuff was consolidated at Vivid. Remember, some of this stuff they were dealing with for the first time.

The very same day all items were in Vivid shipped with Fedex International economy. The cost of shipment was very competitive compared to, say, UPS. Vivid must have very special rates from Fedex.

5 days later, the goods were in Kuwait under customs clearance.
2 day later, I took delivery.

Packing was outstanding. Big sturdy cardboard box filled to the brim with the little fluffy styrofoam thingamajigs and the items nicely buffered from shock inside.

All items arrived in absolutely perfect condition.

Now, I am not accustomed to lavishing unwarranted and un-earned praise on anyone, but I must say, the buying experience from Vivid has been outstanding.

Kudos to Dan and Vivid for a very friendly and easy experience.
