I thought the 998 would have the side mirrors positioned at the side of the doors instead of the window. Did they just change it back the last minute?

This is a 997 body on a 998 chassis. It's a test mule and gives no clue what the 998 will look like. I believe these shots were taken in 2008 or 2009. They've been around.

Exactly.

Its easy to see this a 997 body. Mirrors, rear taillights, rear bar, front gaurds, rear roofline changes, are all different on 991.

Sorry Karim....nothing new here my friend. Just a couple of bolt on rear wheel spats to accomodate for the wider rear track.

Was about to say those lines look too familiar. Wasn't meaty enough to be the newer more muscular 911. Besides the bumper and the brake lights are a dead give away. The top of the front bonnet sit higher off than ground than the next gen 911!
