New Black Hard Anodized finish

Here's a shot of the new Hard Anodized finish in Black. Very nice look, highly corrosion resistant, and the finish adds no weight to the wheel.

I have a 2002 996TT. Please PM me with price for the 18's in the mesh forked design. What widths are available? What offsets are available for my car? Are the wheels track worthy?

PM sent. We have 18x8.5 and 18x9 front widths available and 18x11, 18x11.5 and 18x12 rear widths available. Offsets are your choice, within a reasonable range.

The wheels are high strength forgings and 100% TUV compliant and so are EXTREMELY track worthy.

The European track guys seem to go a little quicker with the 18s. My guess is that it has a lot to do with tire choices available in that size.

Thanks for your interest.

Mike

Well when you see other manufacturer's wheels crack and split the center sections out of them on cars that make ~600whp, what do you think will happen when it sees another 2-300?

What else could be better for the performance automotive industry than a defense contractor utilizing their research for high strength lightweight superalloys and building some of, if not the strongest and lightest wheels?

The designs look amazing too!

Feel free to hit us up sometime if you are in the area.

Our 18s definitely fit with PCCBs

I have received a lot of PM questions about this, so let me clarify.
Our new 18 inch wheels fit all 996s and 997s with either steel or PCCB brakes.
They also clear Stop Tech and Brembo aftermarket brakes.

What is the weight differential versus the stock 2010 center lock wheels?

The 19 inch OE front wheels weigh about 23.5 lbs. The rears weigh almost 29 lbs. These are very high quality cast wheels.
So, with the lighter weight forged wheels, you will save 30+ lbs of unsprung weight. That will make a significant difference in acceleration, braking and ride comfort.

There is always the question, "why didn't Porsche put forged wheels on the car in the first place?" The answer is easy; cost. The OEs pay $50-70 for a cast wheel. Switching to forged would add more than $1000 cost to each car. Build a few thousand cars and you get to some real money.
Porsche wisely decided that using cast wheels wouldn't make one iota of difference in the decision to buy or not buy a GT3. So they installed some nice cast wheels.

That's a significant difference. Thanks for the info. Will be ordering soon...

Do you do wheel and tire packages? Interested in wheels + a set of mounted Pilot Sport Cups.

TIA,
