I should have mentioned that the car is running on 95 octane us equivalent.
I think I could have shaved a point off my time if I was alone without Spunky.

I know the M5 owner. He's a great guy. Total gearhead.
I don't know if he was actually using his NOS that night but we'll definitely go at it again and maybe film it this time.

And on you going solo are you suggesting Spunky's a bit of a heavyweight then? I know what you mean its always better one up.

Hi all,
Hooked up with SpunkyQ8 tonight and installed my BMC Air Filter.
The filter required sawing off the bottom central plastic "tongue" as I think Vivid sent me the 997.1 TT filter design. The .2 design has a smaller twin groove in the middle as opposed to the single one of the .1. No biggie as the filter has four other tongue and grooves, two each end, to fit in. Plu, there are four or five screws on top to hold it firmly in place.
At the beginning of this post, the car was 100% stock best run I had was 0-100 KPH @ 3.44 seconds and I was alone in the car.
The only mod with this latest run is the BMC Filter.
The PBox DBN file has been sent to Scott (divexxtreme) for verification.
Ambient temperatures were 35*C.
Here's the data:

Our best PDK Turbo showed the following results:

0-200 10.45
1/4 mile - 10.95 at 204 km/h

Spunky's a tall muscular guy, by no means a feather weight.
I attempted the Softronic just after the run I posted finished. My intent was to test do another run after the flash.
I am having problems. My car is in limp mode. I am unable to clear the fault codes as required for the flash to work.
I am waiting for the guys at Vivid to start their day to seek their help in resolving the issue.
I wonder what the ambients temps were and the angle of inclination?
When will the drama end bro?

Quick times for sure. Even in such heat which can be a great detriment to performance.
Karim, is your Porsche dealer backing up your modifications to the car? Will they void the warranty or not if you know?
Also a little off topic for the purposes of this thread and though I would throw this out there. But is it true that the new Turbo S'es are hitting consistent Three second 0-100 KPH runs, 0-60 MPH, or under?

Great write up!
I have a Turbo S Cab and I have 114 miles on my ODO. I have not tried LC yet but I did take off from a stop with Sport Plus and man this thing pulls hard. I'm getting wheel slippage at around 4K RPM and I see the TC light flashing in 1st and some in 2nd. The temp outside was just 85 degrees F. Top was down and the exhaust sounds so much louder than 997.1TT stock exhaust. Again, this could be misleading due to top being down but the S sounds to be a bit more "bassy" than the 997.1TT. I plan on driving it some more this weekend and will try out LC when it's darker out and less cars on the road.
