Raced a F430 and then a 997 TT...
was cruising after work on the autobahn, tired after work.
a red F430 passed by.
pushed the Sport button and raced the f430 with tubi.
I have a flash and custom made exhaust.
997 TT with flash and exhaust simply is in a different performance category. no need to compare to a F430.
Especially from low road speeds such as 50 mph, F430 lacks the torque.
F430 took the exit.
It started to rain.
Rain stopped.
20 mins later, saw a white 997 TT on the right lane. He was @ 30 mph.
Slowed down next to the white 997 TT, stared at him in order to trigger him. the guy floored 1 second ahead of me. Passed me. 2-3 seconds later he was after me, and he backed off as soon as he saw the difference. It must be a stock 997 TT.
I could not wish any other cars to run against.
Love my 997 TT, and decided to save for the 998 TT.

So your much slower than Skandalis? Is yours still got the FVD or has it been changed out?

No FVD, a friend of mine custom tuned using a software called winols, add to that a custom made rear muffler with 200 cell cats.

Give me the scoop. There must be more to it..

I own a dyno dynamics dyno as a hobby in my garage, two wheel drive dyno.
There is no proper 4 wd dyno here, they are inertia type dynos.
Paul, as declared on my pmail, FVD was perfect, very good.
I switched to custom mapping, as I wanted to be independent of a tuner.
Now, please dont be sceptic and dont try to make a horror story
I can switch back to FVD anytime. It was very good. No single issues.
I advise FVD to anyone seeking a high quality tune.

Mate I dont make horror storys up, some folks unfortunately create them when they make the wrong choice though. Some get snared up at one point and I'm a firm believer that these things are always worth sharing so others dont make the same expensive mistakes.
And on the dyno. Will a 4wd model will be now on your santas list .
