DIY: Swapping the 997.1TT taillights to the newer 997.2TT LED taillights on my Turbo!

I have always liked Atomic's car. A perfect combo, the blue with yellow brakes and the GT wheels. Beautiful... but now even better! Really great change of pace from the black/grey/silver TT world.

Please allow me to make a quick DIY from yours, but first thanks to make it clear such a requested mod in this forum.
Parts for 07-08:
Taillights - $400 each
Front and rear control modules - $350 each
Make it work:
1. Cut a little bit of plastic tabbing from the LED taillights to work with the wiring harness
2. Install front and rear control modules to get option in the PIWIS to turn the LED mode on. Swap in the rear module the pins from #42 to 31.
3. Done, ready, no warning or flashing lights, big smile, enjoy your leds...

Thanks! Really...I had a bunch of car guys follow me today on the track and they thought my new taillights looked GREAT! Very visible on the track they said.

Yep, the lip fits perfectly. We were able to move everything over except for the ones mentioned earlier.
