Question Would you consider a 997tt with rear damage?

Guys here's the deal:
<O</O

Found this great 2007 tt with a major window price tag ($143k) however the Porsche service records show a bumper damage from a minor collision(less than $2000 damage). The car is perfect in every way possible and the price tag is at least $5k less than what the dealers are asking. It's an early edition purchased in 12/2006 with some warranty remaining and 17k miles on the clock. Carfax is clean, no mentioning of the incident anywhere... <O</O
<O</O

So, my question is: If looking to buy, would you consider this car?<O</O

$2k damage sounds pretty minor. If you can get a copy of the exact parts replaced it would be worth looking at.

Agreed. If the price is really that attractive taking into account the previous damage and there was no structural compromise of the car, I'd consider it.

In the words of the seller's wife:

"
He was rear ended on the freeway, low-speed impact. Less than $2,000 worth of damage. Easy fix."<O</O

Get the local dealer to take off the rear bumper and inspect it. Taking the rear bumper is relatively easy. If it was just cosmetic bumper damage, I wouldn't worry about it too much..
