2007 Turbo Coupe for 88k - good deal?
Looking for some input from you guys. I can get a 2007 turbo coupe with 5k miles for $88k. It is adaptive sport seats, tip, and ceramic brakes among a few other things. Color is decent too. Any opinions from you guys on this one?

I do not agree with bonehead. When I was searching there was no price differance between the two. I know I will get flamed for having a tip ( which I prefer ) always remember you get the 6 speed for FREE! I love rowwing the gears like others but as I get older it is not as fun and the auto's continue to get better. If you like the car I say it is a good price. Good Luck.

Bonehead is correct, there is a price difference between the two, and that was before the PDK came on the scene.
In todays market you can expect a discount of 6-10k for a tip.
To the OP if you like the car in all aspects, it is a decent price for a tip with that sort of mileage. Due your research on ceramics, if there is no cpo then it may get expensive, fyi

The TipS on the 2007 997 Turbo is a good and very strong transmission (Mercedes). I still belive the $88K pricetag is too high, you can get one for less - except if this is your dream configuration with just the right color.

I feel the same, not here to offend just to offer info. ( just remember all info is free ). I agree the pdk will/has hurt the tip cars, but the tip is a proven piece of equipment that works really well. I beat the heck out of mine at the pca de event sat. at pbir and it did not miss a beat. Back to the op post, I say if you like the car beat up the salesman!

I doubt you will get that car for much less. No harm in offering. I picked mine up with similiar options for a similar price, but there are people looking specifically to buy tips. Tip with PCCBs is rare. There is a member on this forum looking for that combo, and he has only found cars in the mid to high 90s. There is no tip car going for 8-10 grand less than similiar equipped 6 speeds.

Is it CPO? Here in SoCal, tips are a bit lower than 6spd in price.
