ECU Flash that makes overboost full time?

I'm looking into ECU upgrades and want basically a hassle free flash. No CEL, no slipping clutch, etc. I was thinking the car in overboost full time would be a good bet, more power but within the stock engine's normal limits. Any options out there?

We can offer any custom tuning you would need. Give us a call.

Lennon - it will not kill the turbos, what the OP suggested was having that power all of the time, which our P550 package actually makes more than what the stock car does with the sport button on.

What we usually do is render the sport button useless, we set the boost maps and limits for best power within the conditions provided.

Nearly all the common ECU tunes offered by sponsors of this board are trouble free with no CEL issues. A slipping clutch is due to the tolerances of the pressure plate and the amount of torque you are producing...several tunes will likely cause some slipping, most commonly with 100+ octane fuel where power produced is greater.

The only trouble an ECU tune may get you into is warranty claims if a dealership takes a good look at your programming. Even a flash to stock may be detected as the number of "Programming Operations" will change after each flash.

Most ECU tunes alone will not cause emissions issues, unless you move to 100cell or catless exhaust configurations.

While I do not advocate any particular tune, it is best that you ask the tuner for specifics. Find a vendor or tuner that you feel that you can trust. Several vendors here are distributors for other tuners who can answer most questions. You can even go to the tuner who created the files themselves and ask for specifics. Nothing is more frustrating than dealing with your car's issues with no technical assistance from the tuner who modified your ECU...as most dealerships (unless mod friendly) will leave you hanging.
