Island in NJ, Last time we went there was a Ford GT, Ferrari F430, Ligenfelter 660 Z06, a worked Z06, 10' Camaro SS, 928 in our group.

I love Island for the number of runs you can get in in a day. I hate Island for it's track prep though. I ran an 11.8 there with my CTS-V. Lots of Vettes were in the 12's and such.

Sick race. That Ferrari got spanked horribly. The CTS-V pulling like that is no suprise though.

i don't care how bad the Scud got spanked in a drag race - would still kill to have one.

 

People don't buy Ferrari's to win street races.........they buy Ferrari's because they can!


The quality of that video was horrible BTW! 1/4 of a million dollar sports car and you can't even afford a $100 Flip HD video camera?

 

The more interesting video would've been a race against the CTS-V...two modded cars. It comes as no surprise that an 800hp Turbo walks a stock Scuderia. Impressive display of power, though.

Exactly, it would not matter if the V had 3 power adders....you don't often expect to see a 4 door come from completely out of the picture and visually rape an F430!

 

Well if you have ********* and red blood flowing through your veins than usually you have an ounce of competitive spirit right? Some of the owners are oblivious to the fact that others cars are faster, but most don't care. I had a guy in a 360 Modena try me on for size, after gaining about 3 full 787 Dreamliners on him I think he got the message. I would still rather have the Ferrari even if the 360's are now pretty slow.

Cars are evolving so fast, if you would have told me even 3 years ago that you would be able to buy an American luxury sedan that traps 117 mph or a Porsche 4 door that is neck for neck with a GTR in most measures of performance I would have slapped you!
