Awesome video of record Pikes Peak run in a Porsche

Hey guys - I know this isn't a turbo in the video, but it might be one of the coolest Porsche videos I've seen. I recommend upping the volume and selecting full screen. It's a bit lengthy but the quality and different scenery / road conditions encountered are amazing! Enjoy.

"Driver Jeff Zwart in a Porsche GT3 Cup runs Pikes Peak and sets a new record for the Time Attack 2WD class - 11:31.095 - taking the Pikes Peak Time Attack championship for 2010."

Some pics from the event...

Some pictures I shot during Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2010. Enjoy:

Yeah - I think I would need prescription pharmaceuticals for a while if I was a passenger in that thing.

How about some of the people just casually walking / sitting next to the road in some sections?!?!? There was one chair about 2/3 the way up that I thought he was going to clip. Maybe it's different if you are there - but wow.

I drove Pikes Peak in a rented Ford Explorer a few years back and required a few diaper changes before I reached the top.

I don't know how they can drive the course at those speeds

Major brass b*lls!

That was really cool. I love how it switches back and forth from pavement to dirt.
