Spark Plug Change
Hey guys I'm going to tackle this project this weekend...I was told to buy these Ngk plugs...The part number is: BKR7EIX and stock number is 2667. Is this what everyone else is running or does anyone have a better suggestion? I know its going to be a pia to do, but I'm up for the challenge!

The IK22 you dont need to gap, just put them in as they are ready to go. These do compliment the ECU flash and generally cars with increased boost and HP need the colder plugs to provide a better spark and not cause misfire.

I would suggest verifying the gap on them as I have seen them on 20 occasions come out of the package all different gaps.. You must use a WIRE TYPE feeler gauge not the cheap tool that goes on your key chain or you will break the plug.. I just pulled a set of IKH24 same plugs basically out of a car and you could see by eye the gaps were way different.. if you can see it by eye its off A LOT..

Depends on boost levels run but generally if a simple setup we run .025.. Thats whats in my 997tt at 20psi w/ no issues making 540whp..
