Here is something that will pick up a lot of free ponies. Ethanol does not explode like gas. It burns as it travels down the liner. It doesn't cost a whole lot of bucks ........ pulsed CD ignition system. It will provide a continuous ignition as the flame travels downward in the liner.
You will also find if you want more knock resistance just add an Aqua Mist injector to your E85 fuel system.......... you will be surprised, with the right mixture, an equivalent 124 octane rating can be attained.

So, 2.0 BAR of boost on a 997TT produces the same Effective Compression Ratio as 1.87 BAR on a 996TT.

I love what you are doing with you car, and I would absolutely do the same thing if I lived in an area with E85 as readily available as in your area.
