VERY impressive Brain!!! How did you launch the car and handle the first two shifts? Did you launch in manual or auto mode? Did you make the first two shifts manually or allow the transmission to automatically shift at redline?

Launch was easy- Sports Plus Mode and I used Launch Control. Car shifted automatically at redline. Launch was incredibly hard and the car did not hook up until 3rd gear! With better tires and better weather conditions- I really believe a 10.5 is realistic.

Very nice time, congrats. I just have one comment about the write-up.. I'm pretty sure the car was not spinning until 3rd gear.. That's something that a 1000awhp 997 would do, not a bolt on car.. especially not with a 1.63 60'. Not trying to take anything away from you, just don't see how that would be possible.

 

First of all, congrats on getting into the 10's. Its not very easy to do with a Pcar. But with a 1.6 60', you will not likely gain .45 tenths with a better launch. You will need to add more power. Just gaining a tenth is huge. That's about the best 60' you could cut. And I'll bet you didn't spin as much as you think. Get a cage and go back and do it again. Good job.
