I just traded in my 2008 Gallardo Spyder last week for a 2008 997TT. The Gallardo was great but you always have to worry about where you park it, and it is not as user friendly (at least to me).

The 997TT is faster and more comfortable and you always have the option of squeezing someone in the back seat.

I have had Ferrari's, Lambo's, Aston's and Maserati's and have loved them all. I go through about 4 sports cars a year but I somehow always find my way back to a Porsche.....

You might find this interesting.
Having both a 997TT & Gallardo, they are completely different and I agree mostly with what others have said.

Pure excitement = Gallardo
Practicality and everday usability = Turbo

great post....lol, its crazy because when i took her out today, I got so much attention, it was weird, a older guy was walking by and we had a long convo about the 930 turbo, he owned.....He said the fastest he went was 158mph, which back then was pretty fast.....lol
Really thinking this through......

Dammn you guys are balling hahah I set my sight on 997 turbo and will never look back, although when im older I plan on getting an aston martin DBS that is if gas is still around =0

not at all, Porsche GT or gt2 is balling, Lamborghini Murcielago is balling.....997 is just enjoy a fast a$$ sport car......

AMR Power is infamous around these parts
Other choices include: Mercedes-McLaren SLR, Bentley Continental Superspots/GTC Speed, and Aston Martin DBS.

Hopefully this helps... or confuses you more.

Spend 15 - 20K more and get an 08 SL. My first was an 07 coupe and the SL is definitely worth the extra $$$

Good choice, but I agree with others, for slightly more look into a Superleggera.
