Just got word from the dealer 3 days ago. They are ordering me a new steering wheel. You guys should definitely follow up again. The misting is really unsightly for a 170k car...

I spoke with Porsche regionals at the recent LA Autoshow Porsche event. Within a few minutes, they had contacted the proper people and I was told that the supplier had issues and that all wheels would be replaced. In fact, the Turbo S on display had the same issue, so it was easy for Porsche staff to see.

My wheel was ordered a few weeks ago.

Be sure to visit your dealer if you want this replacement.

I spoke to my dealer today, and they are ordering replacement steering wheel. Interesting that they had not been made aware of the solution by Porsche. This forum is a wealth of information.

Thanks for the info dan993.

Wow, didn't realize it looks this ugly! Good Porsche starts to replace them now as it is indeed unacceptable for a car like this.

Yes, I am glad Porsche stepped up and took care of it. It was really starting to annoy me....it's right there, you can't really not look at it!

I'll report mine next time I'm at the dealer.

I'm guessing relations between Porsche AG and the wheel supplier are now in an interesting phase.

My dealer still claims he isn't aware of a resolution by PNA.

Can someone PM me a copy of the repair order.

Thank you
