Switzer GT2 R911 vs E900 GTR

Excellent video! Love the different camera angles. Very evenly matched cars. GT-R's gearbox helps it down low because of the instant shifts but the GT2's brutal power/weight ratio gains the lead. Thanks for sharing.

i think it's inevitable. however, i will need to tweak my boost setting to level the playing field. The GT-R has the advantage from a 50 mph roll. We might have to run from a 60 roll with the GTR R1K. the GT2's taller gearing does not make it ideal from a 50 roll.

Great running into you yesterday DK! I wasn't in the shop 30 seconds before I asked David what speed he wanted to run from.
I thought this was a really interesting bolt-on comparison between the two platforms. The cost of the kits are basically the same (inlcuding the clutch work needed for both cars), and both are maxed out in terms of pure bolt on performance (although I was running a couple psi under what Tym dyno'd the car).
Being GTR biased, I was pretty pleased that with a weight disadvantage of about 600 lbs and hp disadvantage of somewhere around 75whp, I didn't start to get yanked until around 130.
Next time we're running from a dig or I'm at least making him fill up at a gas station!
