60-130 test for 997.2 PDK turbo w/Protomotive reflash

Scott, That slope decline is huge. Look what a constant slope does to these times when you use RS38's (rennlist) 60-130 corrections.
dbn time corrected Slope(%)
7,26 7,78 -3,18
7,32 7,88 -3,33
7,36 7,74 -2,24
7,43 7,71 -1,6
7,53 7,57 -0,19
7,68 7,48 1,09
That's about a 0.5 seconds for a 3.1 to 3.3 degree declining slope in a short 60-130 run. I can only image that a 300 km/h run probably adds up to several seconds.

Lc?
Sorry guys!!
Quickest ran verified by Scott is 60-130 in 7.74sec
I test it in 1/4 mile ( on VBOX ) and it ran 1/4 in 11.0@131... car damn spin from 1st to 3rd gear ( tires still new 2500 on them )
it ran 0-100kmh ( 62mph ) in 3.2, 3.3 and 3.5..DAMN SPIN <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Here ya go:
60-130 in 10.11 on a 0.7% decline, and...
1/4 mile in 11.47 @ 123.7
And the link to the thread
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ta-thread.html
Scott verified it on post number 11 in the above thread.
Cheers,
Karim

On that note, RS38's calculations don't line up with what I've seen from validating close to 1,000 P-box runs. Many more variables involved than just slope. What's interesting is that my fastest times have always been on slight inclines. Go figure...
As an aside, I find it interesting that times are reported to the hundreths place even though the Pbox is measuring at 10 Hz which corresponds to an accuracy of +/- 0.1s.

The P-box measures the trap speed as it actually was at the end of the 1/4 mile. Dragstips don't do this. Dragstrips take the average between the timer at the finish line and a timer that's located 66 feet before the finish line. Thus, it's a lower number than what the P-box reads.
This is one of the reasons I don't allow P-box runs to count towards the 1/4 mile list.

Any decline makes a massive difference in times.. I normally test my cars on a completely flat road with ZERO decline, and as an example my best time on pump 91 was 5.7 60-130... I ended up trying that same run on the same day on the way home on what turned out to be just a .04% decline...just a fraction of the 3.0% that is allowed and turned 5.47.

congrats on a sweet car shotcaller.
Is there a "standard" way to do a 60-130? I know some people start at say 50mph and stomp on it to build boost.
In my opinion, I think it would be more useful for comparison purposes if the tester was rolling at 60mph and then stomped on it. Then you could compare b/w different cars. For example, there are a number of cars that have verified 60-130 of about 7.8seconds which is the same as a ZR1 but my impression is that if you were rolling at 60mph the ZR1 would take off instantly when stomping on it but a Pcar might have just a slight delay while waiting for boost. Thoughts? Don't want to hijack this thread but I thought it was sort of relevant to the topic in general.

This is why some of the fastest times on this forum have been produced on very flat roads, or even those with slight inclines. There's much more to it than slope angle.
