60-130 test for 997.2 PDK turbo w/Protomotive reflash

WOW! Thats fast for just a flash.

Really good times!
But I separate times obtained with manual gearbox from PDK gearbox, with the same engine the PDK saves 0.5'x5=2.5' at least (186 in 6th) plus no charge loss, from 0 to 186Mph, wich need a lot of power if with the only power.
In fact PDK (and other zerolift gearboxes) optimises power application but modify the perception of the times.
We need to keep it in mind I think.
I tried a 458 Italia and thought it will be astonishing, but not really, the gear ratios are very short (around 90Mph top 3rd at 9000rpm!) and the wonderfull times are plus dued to the gearbox than the engine according to me; I prefer to feel the engine power than the pure efficient accel of this car.
I tried an Enzo with long shifts times but real power, the times are the same but I prefer the feeling...
Sorry for the Hi-jack and of course respect to the 997.2TT...

Wow! That's damn fast with only ECU flash! Way to go Proto. Did it change exhaust?

It ran as quick as new 997 GT2 RS which ran 0-186 in 28.9sec!!
Another compare with 9ff DR640 kit for 997.2 turbo
Max power: 640PS/471KW Ex works: 500PS/368KW
Max torque: 830NM Ex Works: 650/700NM
The conversion includes:
966 valve exhaust stainless steel with 9ff design end pipes
9ff sport catalytic converters OBDII Euro5 approved
9ff sport air filter
9ff intercoolers
9ff ECU upgrade
Price: 17.980,00 Euro plus mounting and tax LOL!!!
The 9ff TR640 does the sprint from 0-300 km/h in only 26 seconds. Technical features like the PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung) as well as the Sport Chrono Package Turbo are adapted from 9ff accordingly.

Scott, That slope decline is huge. Look what a constant slope does to these times when you use RS38's (rennlist) 60-130 corrections.
dbn time corrected Slope(%)
7,26 7,78 -3,18
7,32 7,88 -3,33
7,36 7,74 -2,24
7,43 7,71 -1,6
7,53 7,57 -0,19
7,68 7,48 1,09
That's about a 0.5 seconds for a 3.1 to 3.3 degree declining slope in a short 60-130 run. I can only image that a 300 km/h run probably adds up to several seconds.

Sorry guys!!
Quickest ran verified by Scott is 60-130 in 7.74sec
I test it in 1/4 mile ( on VBOX ) and it ran 1/4 in 11.0@131... car damn spin from 1st to 3rd gear ( tires still new 2500 on them )
it ran 0-100kmh ( 62mph ) in 3.2, 3.3 and 3.5..DAMN SPIN <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
