TechArt TA 097/T2.1 Power Kit for 997.2 Turbo S

If your brand new 997.2 Turbo is feeling envious of the GT2 RS' power output...don't fret. TechArt's new power kit allows you all the pavement-creasing power you want in a daily-drivable package. The TA 097/T2.1 power kit for the direct-injection Turbos deliver the performance of the GT2 RS at a fraction of the price. Here are the details:

- Horsepower: 620hp
- Torque: 605lb/ft torque
- 0-60mph: 2.9 seconds
- Top Speed: 207mph

- TechArt 097/T2.1 ECU reflash
- TechArt exhaust manifolds
- TechArt sports exhaust system
- TechArt pressure sensors
- TechArt carbon fiber airbox cover with high-flow air filters

Let me know what you guys think.

You should be able to see the carbon airbox cover in the first picture. There is a T2 power kit for the 997.1 Turbo, but it also includes new T20 VTG turbochargers.

Can you tell us a little about the ECU flash? Are you increasing boost, changing valve timing?

I wish I could be more specific. TechArt reflashes the ECU in Germany and they keep information like that in-house. What I can tell you about is the way it drives. The power delivery is stunning! Throttle response will frighten a GT3 RS and it's as reliable as a wood-burning stove.

+1 on a PM for a 2011 997.2 6 speed.

Question for you: there is a long thread discussing that the 997.2 engine can't hold HP/TQ above 560 or so because the engine is not as strong as the Mezger - can you comment on that? Thanks

It's the PDK tranny that's questionable for high HP applications.
