The Eagle (or Nightingale in this Case) Has Landed: My Europipe Exhaust! Pics Inside!

Nice to see that the box arrived in good condition.
Ain't those heat shields nice ? Takes us a lot of time to build these though.
With the new 997.2 TT you really have to remove the intercoolers and the alumium heat shieds above the coolers. Otherwise you can't undo the sensor wires from the attachments.
Once the intercoolers are off you have very good access to the nuts so you no longer need special tools. Also the new nuts are 12mm and don't seem to seize as the previous 13mm nuts. ( except for the very early 997.2 TT cars as they still use the older style 13mm nuts )
This new exhaust looks somewhat identical to our 997.1 TT exhaust but 90% of the parts are different though. We will improve on the packing during the upcoming weeks.
Karim , I hope you'll enjoy the new exhaust as much as we enjoyed building it.

Thanks! Will oblige as soon as I'm back from my trip
Thanks! Will post install pics soon.
Thanks guys! Exciting as it is to finally have the EP after having booked my pre-order for several months , I did not forget about the tools.
As Stef mentioned on this thread, the install procedure for the 997.2 TT makes the tools unnecessary. As such, they are not shipped.
Agreed Barry! Brilliant stuff.
Thanks Chris.

These tools are worth more than 100 bucks TT. I wouldn't miss them for a 100.
Im pretty sure that in all the excitment Karim has simply dropped the ball on showing the photo. Buying one of these systems is an experience....and an extremely satisfying one at that. especially once its on the car.

And what model of Toyota do you throw in with the order?

When you order one exhaust, you just get a key as a teaser. With an order of five or more, you get a Land Cruiser. An order of 10 exhausts nets you the new LFA!
That you did my friend!

have never heard one in person, but from what I hear it's pretty quiet. Love the sound of my FVD but the build quality and rep of EP makes it very appealing.
More interestingly, the guys at TPC have already told me either go EP or put the stock exhaust back on
