Fried my DME today

Thanks! I thought I could flash my car with my eyes closed after I done it a few times. And stuff started to go wrong when I decided to follow my own instructions.

I am sure it is a lesson learned, but it will be right in no time
HAHA!

What model year are you?
An 07 uses 997 618 602 01
All other first gen 997TTs use 997 618 602 03
Not sure what the difference is.

Yes, I did try that. I gave it a few minutes and it wouldn't move at all. Does the recovery really work?

Never really tried it, last I checked DME was around $600.
Look up cannga's post on tune and you will find the place to buy it.
Todd tune rev limit is 7200rpm AFAIK. It is a hard stop when you hit the rev limiter.

I have got some over revs in range 4 which is 7400-7900. I have never missed a shift and never let anyone else drove it other than the dyno run we did last week. But if the rev limiter is 7200, there's no way that they can rev it past 7400.

Run it by Todd. I looked at a couple of my logs and cannot find any past 7100.
Tell the guys doing the dyno run to back off once they touch 6700 on the Tachometer.
I believe the motor revs way faster then the gauge can display.
