Akrapovic Titanium 100cells exhaust 997.1TT

Hi Guys,

Bought a set of Akrapovic titanium 100cells muffler and tips. Super lightweight, nice cabin sound especially when WOT, and the tips would turn blueish overtime. Has anyone tried the evolution system (+ titanium headers)?

Congratulations on your new exhaust. It is the best in the market by far...

I have a couple of questions, your system is the slip-on correct? I am thinking in installing the 400 cell version because of a posible CEL. Have you had problems with that?

Could you please post or send me a sound file. Is really dificult to find them on the web

Hi,

Actually I had bought the full evolution system just that the titanium headers has not arrived yet (im using DMS headers currently). I went to the track after a few days. In Singapore, we are running on Ron98 petrol. No issue on CEL. At the Sepang F1 track Malaysia, I used Ron97 with 2x octane booster on full tank. The CEL came on after 30laps before I call it a day. I drove back home about 300km and had no loss in power or whatsoever. Took it to the workshop the next day to clear the fault code and all is well again.

There are a couple of clips on youtube on Ackra.. I've been searching for a titanium system for a long time and there are not many tuners with full titanium exhaust system. Imo, it's not as loud as CG super loud export (my previous exhaust) but definitely lighter and you could feel the mid-range more explosive. I can't wait to fit on the titanium headers!

Hi Jean,

You have sharp eyes!!

I will post more pics on Quantum. In fact, I will be speaking to the Quantum guys from Japan tomorrow. If I'm not wrong, I am the first Turbo they are developing on. Most of the race cars in Japan in various racing series use Quantum race suspension. Mine is 2-way high speed low speed adjustable. Very much like Moton but costs lower. I have a friend GT3 installed with Q. He loves it to bits.

Turbo is a heavy car, easily 200kg over GT3. With this set-up, my confidence level went up because the car no longer sways when you brake hard at a bend with the steering at an angle. It takes time to fine tune and re-adjust my braking, turning, and power-out point though. Simply amazing.

Quantum - mmmmmm

Great coilovers and features on some of the fastest cars in Japan for their Time Attack series.

I am a big fan of Akrapovic. Great choice.

100cel is guaranteed to throw an O2 sensor error on Akrapovic setup. For their BMW M3 system Akrapovic has a specific Error Deleter that will get read of the codes. for the Porsche, I recommend you throw a tune on your car to get read of it.
