Owners of both 997 TURBO & 996 TURBO
#31
the debate should not be 996tt vs 997tt.
the real question is would you rather a 997 carrera s over 996tt based on aesthetics?
i think i would get bored of a 997cs pretty damn quick.. to me its just another porsche but a turbo has a prestige about it and will forever me a classic.
i have been driving a boxster as a loaner for the last week as my turbo is being worked on. i can honestly say that newer finishes and looks just dont do it for me. my 996 turbo is an animal, it makes me laugh sometimes when im under wot as the power is just so crazy. and i only have a flash on k16's
if someone asked me what would you rather 997tt or 996tt i would say 997 but there is a big price difference and the 996's have more of a porsche soul to them.
i dont know if anyone catches my drift, but imo there isnt much point comparing 996tt to 997tt.. the real comparison is 997 gt3 vs 997tt.. now on that one im plain stuck!
