Can a modded Porsche really beat a Hayabusa?
If you do a little of a search here in the forum you'll find quite a few discussions about modded Porsche cars 996-997TT doing around 800 WHP beating Suzuki Hayabusas in 1/4 mile runs, 60-130 (100-200 km/h) etc.
Most of the times the discussion was endless surrounded by conflict. This is a thread where we should support our statement with some evidence.
I am a Porsche lover but since i used to be a biker i'm one of those who believe that a Hayabusa is on a class of its own.
Yesterday i PBOXED a good friend's 2009 Hayabusa with exhaust/ECU which puts around 180hp on the wheel. This bike is a daily drivable bike.
The PBOX was set on km/h.
here are the resaults
0-60 km/h 1,4sec
0-100 km/h 2,4sec
100-200 3,8 sec
1/4 mile 9,4sec
I have tried to upload the PBOX file but i couldn't. I will e-mail it to anyone who wants to see it.
On the next run i'll test a Hayabusa with NOS that puts over 300WHP
All runs were performed in a road with street tires and pump fuel

Depends on the level of modifications to the Porsche and the Busa. Highly modified Porsche can kill a Busa. Highly modified Porsche vs lightly modded Busa is interesting. Highly modified Porsche vs nicely modded Busa will result in a big disappointment for the Porsche guys.

If you see my post above the busa had very little on it (exhaust/ECU) and did 1/4 mile in 9,4secconds.
Is there any Porsche that beats that time? As far as i know the fastest Porsche cars on the forum can barely do sub 10sec

Exactly. People do not realize how fast a well riden bike can be. Of course, aerodynamics are against them and it compounds as speeds increase, but even so, the power to weight ratio is almost always too much for a car to overcome. Most car guys who have beaten bikes will tell you they passed the bikes at very high speeds. Also it depends on the top speed of the bike and the gearing.

If you are talking about from a roll (where almost all of the claimed bike-kills occur), then yes; a modded Porsche can indeed beat a 'busa.
From a dig, on the street, it would be very difficult for a car to beat a liter+ bik in a relatively short distance, regardless of the car.
Put simply; from a roll the modded car has the advantage, especially at higher speeds. From a dig, the bike has the advantage due to their exceptionally low weight.
Two different scenarios, two different outcomes.

Since it is gen II busa....Shouldn't be quicker??

U'll need a good driver along with a bit of a head start , high mph roll (70-100) and longer distance's (1000-1200) mtrs. Put all the factors together try to convince the biker something in the vicinity, then rest assured that bike is a kill

Exactly my thoughts besides it the various "simple" laws of physics that are in action here...difference in weight is a huge and so will be the velocity if they start racing from a dead stop...once they are at similar speed the porsche could be faster depending on the mods

milou .. rolling high spead 130 - 150km/h with long distance like 800m or 1k .. you can beat him with 800whp P car !!!
a friend here in kuwait has 997 GT2 moded GT3076 proto kit !!
boosting 1.8 bar he killed a 2009 busa rolling 120km/h - 1200m !!
but this was stock busa !!
anyway .. did you Decid which GT30 kit you will buy ??

I think the only way to beat a busa is to have a bad rider. A lot of people own bikes but a little few know how to ride them, especially on high speeds. I'll post some 200-300 times soon so we can speak with numbers.
The funny thing is that this bike had an exhaust/ECU.
I remember some people talking about racing turbo hayabusas and ZX10 with NOS.
Another friend of mine owns a Busa with 100hp NOS ECU/exhaust doing over 300WHP. That bike is as drivable as stock and it should be withing the 8s at the 1/4 mile.
I'll soon post times and video for you to see
It should be doing 200-300 in under 3 secconds.
Then its the turbocharged Hayabusa that puts 500HP on the wheel on low boost/pump fuel 1,0bar. With a custom gearbox for over 300MPH

Nos busa or turbo busa is hard to beat or i can say its immposible
my friend has moded 2008 busa 180whp he raced 1100whp supra .. rolling 160km/h to 600m the busa was 1 car in front of the supra ...
now he is planning to get nos in his bike
btw miluo .. do you know any company could upgrade the GT30 turbos ?? changing the compresor or whatever ???
