How does porsche do it?

I currently drive a BMW 335i which has a 3.0 inline 6 twin turbo which puts out 300hp 300tq. How do porsche 911 turbo's get so much hp out of their inline 6 tt engines??

psst..they aren't inline, they are a horizontally opposed 6 with two turbos and a horribly awesome short exhhaust path nooice and hot into each turbo bank. Highly efficient engine with a great ecu and boost=

it is truly amazing how this "little" flat 3.6 lt engine can produce such ridiculous power.

My 997.1 turbo is fully stock power wise and i take down almost any engine size lol.

Even crazier is the gt2 RS! same sized engine with 600+ hp lol

that will beat everything, litteraly /endthread

Why doesn't Porsche go with quad turbo instead of triple turbo for next 911 turbo?

To be fair, BMW sandbagged the thing b/c the E46 M3 was still available. It didn't take the testers/rags long to figure out the 335i was closer to 350/350 stock (290-300 at wheels). This is at 7psi boost. A $500 tune (JB4), BMS filter and good gas or E85 nets 410 at the wheels (seen dynos on E90 post or N54tech). For what we pay for a tune only, they get big power
