EVOMS EVT550 - 570R Setup
Greetings,
I think the slippery slope has me in its grasp. I'm very close to going for the EVOMS EVT550 flash with their billet recirculation valves. After reading a bunch of old threads on the subject, a few questions:
Most users refer to the flash running on 93 octane which I assume is normal premium gas at sea level. Since the best I can do here at 7,000+ ft is 91 octane I assume that's not an issue considering the elevation change. Am I missing anything?
I've only otherwise changed suspension components on the car so can I expect that CEL's will be a non-issue for the most part?
Regarding Sport Mode, with the exception of the torque curve now being in a higher steady state (i.e. no 10 second boost) does the flash affect any other functions?
Are factory and CPO warranties typically voided with this mod?
What else should I know that I'm probably too naive to ask about?
Thanks,

Steam, I'm wondering some of the same things. I plan on getting the 650 kit when I pick mine up.
I'm pretty sure though any all warranties will be null and void with that addition.

If its an EVT car, EVOms raises the boost with the sport button off, offers the sport button as 100 octane race gas map for more fuel/timing and tuned for only 100 octane for some serious power..

What I didn't ask about is the 570R component of the package. That's 100 octane fuel no doubt (~$8/gal at the track) which bumps the hp to 570. No idea of the torque though.
Next question, how is that program accessed? Is it just a push on the sport mode button? What if you don't have 100 octane in the tank?
So many questions, so little time......

It would be best to actually PM Todd Z. (member: Evolution Motorsports) with your questions. You'll be sure to get the right answers.

Via the Rocky Mountin Region of the PCA, one of their dealers is offering an extraordinary discount through this week. Too good to pass up, imo.

it is my understanding however, that the sport button works on BOTH, 91/93 and also on 100 octane...yielding higher boost/settings in all 4 cases: sport on 91/93, sport off 91/93, sport on 100 and sport off 100...
