So I've been in the market for a while nowfor a used 997 turbo. I have my heart set on GT silver but every car out on the market I've seen has every color interior but black.
Somone enlighten me please.

Eurotom,
I have just sold mine to Select Luxury Cars in Marietta, GA<O</O
It has less than 6K miles on it, I ordered and purchased new in 2006<O</O
It is a 2007 997TT GT Silver, Black interior, Sports Crono, Locking Diffs, short shifter,<O</O
Optional sport seats, CD/Bose, thicker multifunction wheel, 6 speed plus more etc.<O</O
When I took delivery I immediately installed champion wheels, so the OEM wheels and tires only have 10 miles on them. The car lived in an AC/Heated garage.<O</O
All the service was performed at the Porsche dealer.<O</O
Please feel free to call me.<O</O

I really came close to going with terra cotta / black inside with my GT Silver, went with black. Sometimes I wish I brightened the inside up a bit but when it comes to resale silver w/ black is easier to move it would appear.
GT silver is awesome, but dont discount Meteor, its a great color on the turbo.

Max, thakns for the input I sent you an email.
Gmoney, I agree silver and black can be a little dull at times but I'm also considering
the option to re-sell down the road. Meteor gray is a great color but just does not stand out as well.

Mine is GT Silver/Black also. Love the combination. I think its absurd that Porsche charges 3K for the color now. It was around 2K when I ordered it in 07. I never understood why? Have 26k miles on my car with almost all the leather options but I plan on keeping it for at least another 3-4 years. Be patient and you will find one. Its a popular color but not as common as Artic Silver. Best of luck to you.

I've actually had a dealer line up 3 Carreras side by side, GT silver, Artic, Meteor. The additional 3K is steep but it's worth it. There are a few out there on the market however I'm very selective and the used car market is not. COCOA???? Cmon! Have not seen the interior in person and not knocking anyone who may have it but the pictures do not do it justice. The search continues!
