Those already used by SPI w/911R and Proto PE1000hp kits

I think it will cost you about 4 to 5k to upgrade your turbos to get the latest vtg. For about 8-10k you could get Alpha 30s which aren't vtg but will work with stock headers etc... and just require a bit of plumbing. Then you'll get 700whp on pump gas. Something to consider if you're feeling the need for more power than your current upgraded kit. I'm a couple of stages behind you and will stick with vtgs but I did consider the Alpha option too.

You're right.

The only reason i want to stick to VTGs is that i'll have to modd my ICs,add a boost controller, headers (maybe not) etc.

I'm looking for the best VTG kit and i think is the Champion 68mm kit.

I'll wait and see what happens

My understanding with the Alpha 30 you don't have to mod the IC or headers. It's possible I'm wrong though, I'll go back and look at the email I received.

Stock headers is fine but the i/c need to modify since u will need Proto/SPI intake system.

Stock intake is damn restrictive with alpha

You r right

Actually Todd K made 870whp on Van 997 GT2 w/stock intake system which will cost same as the fenderwell setup...The problem is that stock intake system still restrictive

Take a look

If you get standard gt turbos you will have to modify your headers as well since it has a rectangle port...You will also need to modify your oil/coolant line setup for the turbos as well as having the exhaust modified to fit...The IC will also need to be modified to accept the bigger hoses...The link I posted is suppose to use the stock oil/coolant lines, stock headers and normal exhaust...You would still have to modify your Ic as stated....I think switzer uses something simular to these as you do not have to change all the parts listed...

Maybe its because the fuel lines and A/C lines are touching each other, when A/C is on its lines become cold therefor the fuel lines get cold.

Ok lets get this straight

1- GT kit ( GT3071R's/GT3076R's ) need to modify stock headers
2- Alpha kit (A3071/3076) use stock headers.
3- Both GT and Alpha kit need coolant kit
4- Alpha kit fit on stock exhaust flange style and GT kit custom exhaust
5- SPI use thier silicon hoses and Proto use stock hoses for I/C's on Alpha and GT kits.
