In the Champion thread they have a warranty if you buy the whole package (Werks one). I just reread it, they will only give you the "race" file (with the higher boost of 29psi) if you get an engine "built" or if you forego any responsibility for what might happen to your engine with that much boost.

 

i don't think i would want my car car at 29psi anyway, they will give you a race file at 24-25psi...keep in mind that they are only selling these with a GIAC tune, from what i was lead believe....todd is also my tuner..i guess was my tuner also...story to follow

 

The champion VTGs must be purchased with: GIAC software
BBI ignition coils
injectors

Or the complete kit how much power will they produce with 25psi?

There are so many cars out there running on GT3076 turbos producing well above 750WHP with no problems so there is no reason to build the engine. Even if i knew that the engine wouldn't be able to handle the power i would brake it first and then rebuild it. Cost will be the same. This is what i did with my tip trany

 

Not to sidetrack this thread but if a turbo produces say 700whp with 17psi boost and another turbo produces 700whp with 25psi boost is it "harder" on the engine with the higher boost or is it just "harder" on the turbo? thanks to anyone that knows and can answer.

 

I guess is the same for the engine, the difference is the turbo which works harder produces more heat as a result the engine looses power. I believe is better if you can produce power with lower boost
