997 TTS PCCB to Iron Rotor conversion?
#16
I read as much as I could on PCCB when deciding if I wanted them when finding my turbo and came to the conclusion that unless you are rich with money to burn or a professional race team they aren't even close to worth the price premium, even if they lasted twice or three times as long as steel rotors. My car doesn't happen to have them but if it did I'd just sell the PCCB rotors or put them in storage.
I have Performance Friction 08 front and 06 rear pads on my car. More of their endurance line of pad but they're great. I used to run 01s on my M3 which are insanely good pads, but they didn't last as long as I'd have liked them to and since I'm not out to win a sprint race I realized they were better than I really needed them to be.
I might swap back to them just for fun, they're very confidence inspiring when it comes to going deep into a brake zone. Huge PF pad fan here
