I have been running it for a couple of months and throttle response is better.

In fact I removed the MAF's completely instead of just unplugging them to help the car breath better.

Removing maf = more air = better response and extra more power

We ran mafless for while now with no problem

I am no expert, this is my take on it.

MAF's are used for fuel metering by the DME.

I believe on WOT the OEM Tune/DME defaults to MAFless tune.

MAFless tune's predate MAF based tunes.

MAFless/MAP based tune is more work for the tuner.

Unplugging MAF's in Todd's MAFless tune does not cause the CEL to turn on.

Throttle response is better since MAP sensor is just ahead of the TB, whereas MAF's are just behind the air-box.

Stock intake piping is restrictive and turbo's start to choke in high HP/Tuned cars, taking out the MAF's help in airflow.
