My Belated Christmas Present... To Myself :D

Karim, very nice and congrasts. I too think the accent/contrast looks wonderful! You just can't stop pouring money into your baby, can you?
Did you change front lip too? Or still stock? If/when my Techart front lip needs replacement, I will definitely consider Rotec.
BTW, better pics or banned! JK.

Thanks Can!
Hey, you've had a bit of influence on my wallet draining activities on the car!
I did not change the lip. I have it wrapped in glossy CF wrap.
In due course, I think I will install the Rottec one. They have it with the skid protection plate as an option. Looks great too: (what do you think?)
I promise I will take better pictures. Suncoast shipped my GT2 side skirts so when they are installed, I will take the car for a decent photo shoot.

That's a nice touch Karim although I'm not a huge fan of cf....just being honest. That said I dont mind the washed in look of the Cf on the black car.
I guess its the lack of contrast thats doing it for me. Congrats and enjoy in good health tho
Cheers P.

One thing to consider: Do you know what this lip is made of? The front lip takes more "hits" than anything else and could crack so this is the one place where something soft like polyurethrane might be better than something brittle like carbon fiber? I don't really know -- just check with Rotec before you go ahead and yes I think the protection plate is a must.
BTW, the test drive in a car like yours, a PDK Turbo, remains one of the most memorable "car moments" I've ever had. The off line acceleration is off the chart ridiculous! Scarily fast -- and this from a Turbo owner!

Nicely done Karim!
I saw the pics on berry too! I do like it. I was also taken by the wrapping of the ducts in Carbon, ala GT2RS. I have been thinking about that, needed to see it on a meteor car.
What we need is a pic from the quarter side, showing everything! Nose, mirrors and ducts, and a bit of the rear wing... :-)
Cant wait to see the side skirts.

Hi Karim, I think the front Rotec lip looks fantastic; strikingly similar to Techart, and at a much lower price, right?

Yup, the Rottec lip is actually the Techart look CF lip, same as the rear wing blade. It is indeed cheaper than the original Techart.
It is made of CF. I don't have my car lowered, and, since we don't have a track here, I don't have any plans to lower it. It's been a long time since I banged my lower lip. Very occasional minor scrapes which the skip protection plate will take care of.
I agree about the PDK's off the line acceleration. It's as if it's in a slingshot using launch control, and that's when it is still bone stock. Try to get into one with a tune and exhaust on it! spins all wheels off the line even going into second gear!
Nicely done Karim!

The duct covers I have are actually not wrapped. They are real glossy carbon fiber. I got those from Dan at Vivid Racing and they are manufactured by Speedart. Rottec had a longish lead time to get them at the time.
The only part that is wrapped in cf on my car now is the front spoiler lip.
I'll try to get a couple of shots off before I install the GT2 side skirts showing the various CF trim parts installed and post them here.

Abdullah nice shot. Quite a bit of leaning for this tight curve, no, or is it just my imagination?
Are those Rinspeed wheels on your car in the Avatar? You still have them? I love those wheels! I came very close to getting them; did not only because they didn't have 19" size.

I am thinking though, maybe for the lip consider painting body color? The reason I am thinking that way is that the form of the lip is designed to "flow" with the front of the car. Perhaps same body color provides a more integrated look. Either way, I think you'll be very happy -- allow me post my body color lip here for comparison with the Rotec shot above.
