Hope everyone had a great holiday and a wonderful start to the new year...

Having previously wrapped my rear spoiler in Carbon fiber look wrap, I was convinced of the overall look of CF on my car but I felt the rear spoiler lacked a bit of visual impact, or Oooomph (for lack of a better word).

Just in time for Christmas, Ray at RotTec posted a Christmas specials thread on some of their products so I jumped on the opportunity.

I ordered the RotTec TechArt style rear wing in glossy carbon fiber.

Upon my return to Kuwait after the holidays, I found that the package had arrived and I installed the wing yesterday.
So, I thought I would share my experience and some images with you guys and see what you think (honest opinions truly appreciated, no flattery and no velvet gloves please ).

Ordering from Ray was a pleasure as always. He's very accommodating and handled a special shipping request very well.
Package arrived very well packed and no damage whatsoever to the box or contents.
Quality of the finish on the wing is breathtaking.
Ray was also kind enough to throw in the special installation/removal tool free of charge. Armed with that tool, and with the kind assistance of a friend, we removed the stock spoiler and installed the new one in about 10 minutes.

I have one more item on order for the car for now. I ordered the GT2 side skirts from Suncoast. I will post new (better) pictures once these are installed.

The carbon x grey combo blends great with the car, and that TA wing sits perfect, congrats on a great choice to pick the TA rear wing ..
Can't wait to have mine on as soon as i get back to kwt ..

 

Is there any weight gain or loss with this wing and any improvment/change to areodynamics? Wing looks great, is it just for show?

 

Weight loss is minimal, 3.5 lb over stock wingblade (as advertised). Yet, there is also a compromise in the extra downforce created on higher speeds

awesome. how much was it. i am looking to add a CF wing to my baby.

 

Got a better pic from the rear, doesn't seem to fit just right. might be the angle, otherwise looks great.
