WOT stuttering?

When I did my plugs, I didn't change the coils...Just have them check them while their doing your plugs...If they look worn or torn then purchase a set...

Hmmm...barely dirty and almost all gone? May not really be a maf issue. The problem will return if it's not. Do have stock plugs? How many miles on them?

I have stock plugs, with 26k miles on the car. 5k of which have been modified(tune/exhaust).

I had the same issue , i think i had very bad fuel.
Had to look at it from basic going up .
- first i cleaned my BMC air filter where it wasnt that clean at all .
- Added a bottle of Torco Unleaded Accelerator to new Gas .
Took it to the dealer ship to check my fuel pump and MAF and the problem never showd up .
now am fine and car is running very good , in my case the Fule is the most importent part .

1. CHANGE YOUR PLUGS.
2. CHANGE YOUR PLUGS
3. CHANGE YOUR PLUGS
You have more than enough miles on your now-tuned engine to justify the expense. Tuned TTs are far harder on plugs than stock. It is the best $600-800 you can spend on your car right now. Any other issues aside for the moment, just do it. Now.
4. While you're at it, change the coil packs. As with plugs, TTs are also tougher on coil packs. But here's your GREAT BIG BONUS: Changing plugs is costly. Changing coils is costly. If you do the coil packs while the plugs are being done, you will save $500 (YMMV) labor. No brainer. Happy TT. Happy TT owner. Happy Happy Happy.

Plugs and coils. For the plug labor you should go ahead and do the coils. Also 1 range cooler plugs and gap them less. Your factory plugs are around .048 and you should be at about .025 with a good tune.
Good luck...

Another vote for the plugs, change every 15k give or take a few k when tuned. I did the coil packs for the hell of it at 42k but age can effect these vs. mileage it seems with cracking etc. and the added cost is not that bad.
